Mat Style Conveyor

Introduced by Intralox a number or years ago, this modular belting concept has proven a valuable conveying method for numerous applications. In fact, we’ve been instrumental in the initial application and testing for two types of mattop chains.

Many modular belt manufacturers make it possible to meet most conveying applications. Food, beverage, baking, carton or case handling accumulation and bulk product conveying are just a few examples of the versatility of Mat style. Attachments include cleats, scoops, j-scoops, sidewalls, and more in a variety of positions and centers. Special applications include temperature resistant, super low friction, roller top, antistatic and special colors.

The modular design simplifies repairing and replacement. Chains are tracked by providing a specially configured wear strip to confine the belt within the carry way. Special reversing designs are available, as well as small nose pulley designs for close end transfers.
